- information的意思是“信息,消息; 資料; 情報”,是不可數名詞,沒有復數形式,如果“一則消息”可以說a piece of information,“許多信息”是many pieces of information。也可作“知識”解,其后常接介詞on〔about, concerning〕。
- information還可作“通知,告知”解,是不可數名詞。
- information后面可接由that引導的同位語從句。
- information作為“資料，信息，情報”的意思時（除了指控意外），是不可數名詞，沒有復數形式，也不能加a。但是可以說a piece of information和an item of information來表達一則信息；
